Miscellaneous financial records of the Menomonie city schools, including the Stout Manual Training Schools. Included are general accounting and early teacher payroll records, building fund record, contributions of J.H. Stout to the school fund, and a separate account book for expenditures for manual training, 1891-1901. There is a good deal of material which relates to the financial establishment and continued operation of the Stout Manual Training Schools including cost information for manual training and domestic science operations. Until 1927, the Account Ledgers include separate account categories for manual training and domestic science. Also included is information regarding expenses incurred from the 1897 fire which destroyed Central School and the Stout Manual Training building.
